A rod that has enough stiffness is needed when fishing around structure. This length and power is needed to be able to cast accurately and to be able to pull fish and land them smoothly. Fishing with a ESCAPE TWIN on a 3/0 hook with a 6/16 oz sinker, then this is the rod you need. Fishing through structure and reed wit h16 lb line is a breeze. 630H is designed for, as Norio Tanabe calls it, POWER SKIPPING. Norio Tanabe style skipping mainly uses rubber jigs fitted with bulky trailers on sturdy 16 lb line. By skipping a heavy rig across the water Norio makes is possible for the rig to rip right through vegetation and get up in to the thick of the weed. To get enough speed on the rig the rods blank must be strong but not stiff, it needs to have a taper that allows it to load up on cast, but also enough torque to control the bass and amongst the weed like a standard flipping stick. 630H has all this, plus its length and flexibility makes it perfect for using big baits just below the surface.

“Flexible & strong” are two words that fit this middle class item. Compared to the 630M the tip is shorter for more power, and can take the weight of a large sized bait for that extra long cast. Using 12 lb line, this rod has enough flexibility in it to be used for light texas rigs and spinner baits. Also great for jerking on big lakes.

Compared to the 630MH which is best for soft bait, the 650MH has a longer and thinner tip to make slow rolling with crank baits and spinner baits easy work. It is also a very strong rod, and can be used for texas rigs or heavy carolina rigs. This is all made possible due to its high torque blanks. The perfect rod for swimming bulky worms through weedy areas.

A very strong rod made for flipping and whipping. To pull bass away from structure using the rods strength not the anglers, design has been focused on developing the rods strength over its stiffness. This rod is the most versatile spinning rod in the NORIES line-up, able to be used over a wide variety of situations.
